Interval Training

Interval training is time-efficient and requires no equipment. This workout can be done from your own home, strengthening your heart and increasing speed and endurance.

This workout involves a series of repeated bouts of exercise, during which you work at a set intensity for a set period of time, followed by a low-intensity recovery period. Interval training is great for high-calorie expenditure, boosting metabolism and will improve your aerobic capacity.

Depending on your fitness goals interval training can improve performance in endurance sports or team sports such as football or rugby.

As with all of our workouts, interval training will be tailored to you to get you to where you want to be.

Examples of exercises included in Interval Training include:

  • Figure 8 lunges
  • 360° toe taps
  • Sidewinders
  • Single leg mountain climbers
  • Burpee box jumps
